I believe in jobs

Politics

Finland has great potential and I know we can be even more successful. Although we are in the midst of an economic upswing, the number of long-term unemployed decreases slowly. This means that we have a fault in the system, something that prevents companies from hiring and unemployed to get a job.

It is a worrying sign and something that will be far worse when a recession strikes. Without companies and workplaces, we will not be able to finance services, healthcare and education in the future. That is why jobs and the economy are the largest and most important themes in my campaign, and the biggest and most important theme for Finland’s future.

I know that there are lots of ideas that could be successful companies if it was more flexible to be an entrepreneur. We should not put unnecessary obstacles in the way of our hard-working entrepreneurs. I also know that the companies have a crucial role in combating climate change and creating green growth.

I know that education is our strongest card and that investing in knowledge pays itself back many times. I also know that the education of our children and grandchildren needs to make them ready for work life and that in the future we will all have to educate ourselves during our careers.

I know that inequality and discrimination are obstacles to development. Finland is a small country and we cannot afford anyone being left outside because they aren’t well or do not get the support they need. I demand that everyone regardless of gender, sexuality or background be treated equally.

Without jobs, we will not be able to finance services, healthcare and education in the future. That’s why jobs and the economy are the largest and most important themes for Finland’s future.
